Ronja Gård a former ecological farm

Ronja Gård is a member of ECEAT, European Centre for Eco and Agro tourism.

This organisation stimulates small scale tourism and thereby wishes to help to preserve valuable natural landscapes.

Ronja Gård is located 100 km east of Oslo, on the Norwegian-Swedish border in the southern part of Finnskogen in the province of Hedmark.

Ronja Gård is beautifully situated in the middle of the woods, meadows and lakes. This is elk and beaver country.

The climate is relatively dry and warm in summertime with cold snowy winters.

A fantastic place for hiking, canoeing, fishing, swimming and enjoying the calmness of the countryside.

In the winter you can enjoy themselves in heated cabins or cottage, with 30 km to the ski Valfjallet, or you can enjoy cross-country skiing or just walking through the snow and enjoy the Norwegian landscape in winter.

 

 

 

To make your holiday  even more complete, you can use the spa treatments in the salon.
 A relaxing massage with warm essential oils
 and balm, a warming hot stone massage or a delicious Aromatic facial.

The latest news on Ronja Gård

Soon on the farm to admire 5 Dølafe cows and a calf.The race is a old Norwegian,and currently there are only 400 cows left in Norway.

The living room and bathroom renovation almost complete
 Soon the first guests Ronja Farm visits can take advantage of new showers and toilets.
 There is also a new living room built where guests and locals can go for relaxing wellness treatment.
